       Metro Business Simulation - Overview

The Metro Business Simulation is an internet-based management game. The participants will take over a position on the management board of a virtual Metro, which consists of 4 divisions. Together the participants have to decide on the strategy for the group. Individually they are in charge of one of the divisions. The objective for MBS is to further advance as a global player while earning a positive EVA. A number of strategic options are available, helping to determine the degree of internationalisation. New distribution channels will become available as the game progresses. Various group decisions will help to position the virtual Metro in a very competitive trade industry and to exceed expectations of highly demanding financial markets.

Target group

Young professionals, junior and middle management of the entire METRO Group

Structure

  • Virtual teams
  • Up to 24 participants per game
  • Up to 6 competing teams
  • Up to 10 periods, simulating 5 years
  • Required time for each period: 2-3 hours
  • One introductory day at the beginning of the simulation in Düsseldorf
